Hey Team,  a few of us attendend Safeco's Bricks and Clicks seminar last week on social media.  Information on

  1. Creating a marketing plan
  2. Maintaining a website (thankfully we have this going for us, use the heck out of it)
  3. Search: Why and how people find you when they search
  4. Analytics: Track what is happening.  This is a little more in depth but AAi is working on some ideas
  5. Social Media
  6. Managing your online reputation.  Huge
  7. Working with Vendors:
  8. Why you should join Safeco's Bricks and Clicks on Linkedin.  I would do it

Bottom line is Safeco's Bricks and Clicks team is spot on.  You can increase your web presence dramatically by doing the following.

  1. Establish a Google Places account.  its free.
  2. Blog on your website.  If you dont know how, learn.
  3. Facebook:  Dont sell anything here, just act like an expert.  They can see through you
  4. Linkedin: Did you know Google is searching Linkedin and your profile?
  5. Twitter:  I was not a big fan but am learning why this is important.  Again, Google is watching
  6. Get people directed to your site.

Take some time and click on this link with Safeco.  It is a 92 page marketing tool they give to us and it has so much information that is useful and it is free.  (you will need to be logged into Safeco to see this. CLICK HERE!Last but not least,  Leave me a comment below!!!  Trust me when I say this, it helps us all!  Example:  Mike Neffs staff called me last week with a referral for auto. Why?  The client found his website from California.  Didnt know he was in the mountains.  So, our site worked with his site to get the client to call.  Excellent.Keep up the good work team, and remember to leave me a comment below!!!!!!!!!!!!!!One more thing.  A really good type.  Try and get users on Facebook to leave a comment.  How?  Ask open ended questions to get others to comment or engage.  Not stupid stuff but things that might actually get them excited.  Research this online or in Safeco's Bricks and Clicks stuff attached.
